This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, and technology within fastmoving credit markets. You’ll play a key part in modernizing mission-critical trading and pre-trade platforms, helping transform complex workflows into scalable, data-driven solutions. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support the modernization of credit markets technology within a global pre-trade environment. The role focuses on optimizing platforms that support fixed income, credit, and securities financing activities by integrating modern IT solutions, improving data quality, and enhancing operational efficiency. You will be involved throughout the full application lifecycle, working in an agile delivery model and serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business users, technology teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into clear technical specifications
  • Analyze complex data flows across multiple systems, improving data consistency, quality, and usability
  • Leverage business analytics and BI tools to deliver insights that support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Design and maintain reports and dashboards to address recurring management and stakeholder reporting needs
  • Support the integration of internal tools to automate workflows such as deal checklists, reconciliations, and approvals
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce innovation across credit, fixed income, and securities financing workflows
  • Produce detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases to guide development teams
  • Act as a communication bridge between business units and development teams to ensure shared understanding of goals and deliverables
  • Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new features, ensuring solutions meet business requirements
  • Provide post-implementation support, including user assistance and knowledge transfer as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5–9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within credit markets or financial services
  • Strong understanding of fixed income products and credit market operations
  • Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Experience with workflow automation and integration of business intelligence or reporting tools
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization platforms
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and project management practices
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
