Description

We’re working with a top-tier global private markets firm undergoing a major data and technology transformation. They’re building a next-generation Data & Analytics function and are looking for a Portfolio Data Associate to play a pivotal role in shaping how the organisation captures, governs, and leverages portfolio data across thousands of companies worldwide.

 

This is a chance to work at the intersection of data, technology, and investment insight, helping empower investors, portfolio managers, and client teams with high-quality, actionable information.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Own key portfolio data quality processes and lead quarterly validation cycles
  • Influence how data flows across the investment lifecycle from deal entry to portfolio reporting
  • Drive optimisation and automation to modernise workflows and enhance data integrity
  • Bring technical expertise across private equity, infrastructure and private credit datasets
  • Partner with investment, portfolio management and client teams to deliver insights that matter
  • Support ongoing tech transformation and help shape future data systems
  • Mentor junior colleagues and elevate team capability

 

What You Bring:

  • Strong understanding of private markets
  • Experience working with complex financial data
  • Confident with Excel; exposure to tools like Power BI is a plus
  • Curious, analytical mindset with a passion for improving processes
  • ACA/ACCA/CFA qualified or part qualfiied.
  • VBA/Python experiece
