Job Title: .NET Developer III
Work Location: Midtown, NYC, hybrid 3 days per week
Terms: Contract

The Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team delivers reliable, timely technology solutions supporting Global Macro (Rates, FX), Equity and Securities Lending, and Credit businesses. The team participates in the full application development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, delivery, support, and ongoing maintenance, operating within an agile environment.
One of the core platforms supported by the team is a proprietary, global application used for booking, pricing, electronic trading, and regulatory reporting of financial instruments such as bonds, CLOs, repos, loans, and interest rate futures. The platform is used internationally and requires close collaboration with distributed teams across multiple regions.
We are seeking a senior C#/.NET developer based in New York who is motivated to quickly gain deep knowledge of the application and work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Application Development: Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and fellow developers to design, develop, and deliver business-driven features.
  • Agile Practices: Actively participate in agile ceremonies and development processes to support iterative delivery.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear and thorough documentation, including technical designs, user guides, and deployment procedures.
  • Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing application support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements and fixes as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience in a front-office or trading environment
  • Solid understanding of fixed income products, interest rate derivatives, and related trading and risk management processes
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
