Description
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting professional with extensive knowledge of Zuora System Implementation to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Zuora accounting practices and a proven track record of successfully implementing Zuora systems in complex business environments. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles to effectively communicate and advocate for any new accounting requirements during the ongoing Zuora system implementation process. Experience with Sage Intacct systems and Workday Financials is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the bridge between the Accounting team and their product/systems counterparts throughout the Zuora system implementation journey.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet both business and accounting needs.
- Keep Accounting/Controllership executives in the loop on Zuora implementation progress, including any roadblocks or testing updates.
- Translate accounting needs into technical specifications and work with developers to ensure seamless implementation.
- Provide guidance and assistance to Accounting users during the implementation phase, offering training and troubleshooting support as needed.
- Lead the charge on testing Zuora configurations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Document best practices and procedures for Zuora system usage and upkeep.
- Share insights and lessons learned from past Zuora implementations to continuously improve systems and stay compliant with accounting regulations.
- Stay abreast of Zuora platform updates, industry trends, and accounting standards to drive ongoing improvements.
Skills and Competencies:
- An accounting qualification is preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc).
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Zuora system implementation, coupled with a solid grasp of Zuora Accounting usage.
- Demonstrate a strong command of accounting principles, backed by experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in Zuora Billing, Revenue, and Subscription Management modules.
- Familiarity with Zuora integrations, APIs, and data migration strategies.
- Experience with Sage Intacct accounting systems and Workday Financials would be advantageous.
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Have a proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering results under tight deadlines.
- Exhibit keen attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
