We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and develop a highly available, 24×7 financial services infrastructure. You’ll own key components of the platform, drive automation across the engineering lifecycle, and ensure that environments remain secure, scalable, and resilient. The ideal candidate brings a strong DevOps mindset, deep cloud expertise, and a passion for elegant, automated, cloud-native solutions.
Senior DevOps Engineer
Terms: Direct Hire, Salaried position $180k - $200k
Hybrid in NYC or Remote if non-local

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and support infrastructure and services from initial concept through production launch
  • Improve uptime, performance, and reliability across AWS, Linux, and Windows environments
  • Manage containerized systems and tooling including Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory
  • Build and operate production environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Lead orchestration of cloud environments using Kubernetes and IaC tools
  • Develop CI/CD pipeline automation for Kubernetes/Docker and EC2-based systems
  • Partner with architects, engineers, product teams, and SREs to streamline environment setup and automation
  • Embed DevOps practices throughout the full SDLC—from development to deployment and operations
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and analytics strategies for new and existing services
  • Mentor junior DevOps/SRE engineers and set standards for excellence
Job Requirements:
  • Advanced expertise in system configuration, build processes, and deployment automation
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong background with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, etc.)
  • 5+ years of Linux experience and 5+ years supporting SaaS or high-scale production environments
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, and Terraform
  • Strong scripting skills (Ruby, Bash, Python)
  • Experience with GitHub Actions and modern build/release automation tools
  • Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift (a plus)
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and reliability engineering
  • Understanding of software development principles, data structures, and design patterns
  • A strong passion for automation and operational excellence
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
