You will work directly with traders and technology teams to monitor critical trading systems, resolve complex production issues, and enhance the stability and performance of strategic risk platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced trading environments and enjoys troubleshooting complex data and system flows. The role offers broad exposure to front-office trading operations, real-time market data, and enterprise-scale risk technology while contributing to the ongoing evolution of a global production support function.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary support contact for front-office trading users experiencing issues related to intraday risk and P&L systems.
  • Investigate and resolve complex production issues across the full trade lifecycle, including trade processing, risk calculations, and market data flows.
  • Monitor critical trading and risk applications to detect and resolve incidents before they impact trading activity.
  • Partner closely with traders, application development teams, and infrastructure groups to diagnose issues and ensure platform stability.
  • Support the onboarding of new trading workflows, products, and business units onto intraday risk platforms.
  • Identify recurring production issues and drive long-term improvements to system reliability, performance, and operational processes.
  • Develop automation tools and monitoring enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Manage incidents and production events, including root cause analysis and preventative improvements.
  • Contribute to performance, capacity, and resiliency planning for trading and risk applications.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge resources to support operational best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders during incidents and ongoing platform improvements.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience supporting front-office trading environments or trading technology platforms.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income products and trading workflows.
  • Knowledge of market data flows and real-time trading systems.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Geneos.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills across Unix/Linux environments.
  • SQL for data analysis and investigation.
  • Python or other scripting languages for automation and tooling.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Experience working with distributed or grid computing environments is a plus.
