Head of Business Transformation (AI)
Work Location: 4 days onsite, NYC, Midtown
Terms: Direct Hire, Salaried
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape and scale how a business leverages AI to drive real, measurable outcomes. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, this role owns the end-to-end AI transformation agenda from identifying the highest-value opportunities to ensuring successful adoption across the organization.
You’ll work directly with senior leadership to translate the rapidly evolving AI landscape into a clear, actionable roadmap that improves revenue performance, increases operational efficiency, and fundamentally changes how teams work. This is not an advisory role. You will be responsible for execution, prioritization, and delivering tangible business results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the AI transformation roadmap: Define, prioritize, and sequence a portfolio of AI initiatives aligned to business goals, ensuring executive alignment and disciplined execution.
- Identify and launch high-impact use cases: Partner with leaders across go-to-market, customer success, finance, and operations to uncover opportunities, design solutions, and drive initiatives from concept through adoption.
- Drive organizational adoption: Build and execute change management strategies that ensure new workflows are embraced, sustained, and deliver long-term value.
- Establish operating structure and governance: Create frameworks for evaluating, approving, and scaling AI initiatives, including vendor selection, funding models, and decision-making processes.
- Measure business impact: Define success metrics upfront, track performance rigorously, and communicate results to leadership to inform future investment decisions.
- Manage AI tools and vendors: Evaluate and oversee a range of AI and automation platforms, ensuring tools are effectively implemented and aligned to business needs.
- Influence systems and workflows: Assess data infrastructure and operational processes to enable scalable AI adoption and improve end-to-end efficiency.
- Elevate AI fluency across the organization: Embed AI-driven thinking into day-to-day operations, enabling teams to continuously identify and execute new opportunities
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a cross-functional role such as Business Operations, Revenue Operations, Strategy & Operations, or similar within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success implementing AI or automation initiatives that delivered measurable business outcomes and lasting workflow changes.
- Strong technical fluency, including an understanding of AI/ML concepts, APIs, and data structures, with the ability to evaluate solutions and guide technical teams.
- Deep familiarity with modern go-to-market tools and AI platforms, along with a clear perspective on their practical applications and limitations.
- Executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders, make tradeoffs, and drive alignment across competing priorities.
- Exceptional prioritization skills, with the ability to focus resources on initiatives that deliver the greatest business impact.
- Experience leading change in complex organizations, including overcoming resistance and driving sustained adoption.
- Solid understanding of business systems and data environments, including CRM platforms, data warehouses, and financial systems.
Preferred Experience
- Background working closely with or within sales, marketing, or customer success organizations.
- Hands-on experience deploying AI tools or automation platforms in production environments, including full lifecycle ownership.
- Familiarity with workflow automation and AI agent frameworks.
- Experience evaluating and managing third-party technology vendors.
- Exposure to multiple business functions, enabling a holistic view of operations and decision-making.
