twentyAI have partnered with a global financial services platform to support them hire a junior accountant on an interim basis. This is an Inside IR35 contract with a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the office.
The role supports day-to-day finance operations, including cash management, accurate transaction processing within financial systems, and the month-end close process. This involves balance sheet reconciliations, reporting, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily cash operations, including processing and reconciling payments and ensuring accurate ledger and bank controls
  • Support month-end close, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reporting
  • Prepare and review balance sheet substantiation with supporting documentation for senior finance review
  • Partner with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve queries and support smooth financial operations
  • Assist with audit requirements and cross-entity finance activities as needed
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives across finance operations and reporting workflows


Desired Experience:

  • Part-qualified/newly qualified QBE finance
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in financial services or commodities
  • Immediately available
