Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise during the pre-sales process. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will assess customer requirements, demonstrate the value of our products, develop customer-centric solutions, and assist in securing new business opportunities. This position requires either existing or the ability to obtain top-secret security clearance, and you must be a US national.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to help customers address their challenges.
  • Conduct product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of prospective customers, showcasing features, functionality, and benefits.
  • Design, develop, and execute proof-of-concept projects to validate the effectiveness of our solutions.
  • Assist with technical inquiries, product evaluations, and proposal development.
  • Work closely with product and innovation teams, providing market feedback to inform the product roadmap.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Capability to identify and resolve technical challenges during the pre-sales process.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements and sales activities.
  • Experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, C/C++, or Python, with a desire to develop these skills.
  • Understanding of distributed and/or federated systems, particularly simulation systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including scoping, scheduling, and resource allocation.
