Description

Job Title: AI Founding Software Engineer (Full Stack)
Work Location: 3 days onsite, San Francisco
Terms: Full-time, Salaried + Bonus + Equity

Job Responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable systems for our AI-powered voice agent platform.
  • Design, build, and optimize robust APIs, microservices, and data processing pipelines to enhance real-time call processing capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components, delivering a smooth user experience.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of key technical projects, from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and deliver features efficiently.
  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into scalable software solutions.
  • Improve system performance, security, and reliability through proactive problem-solving and continuous optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning to ensure high-quality code.
  • Provide direct technical support to customers when needed, ensuring seamless onboarding and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with customer success and sales teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize implementation strategies.
  • Analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and new feature development.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in full-stack or backend software development.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL, NoSQL) and experience designing efficient data models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize system performance.
  • A founder-like mindset, with the ability to take ownership, work autonomously, and make high-impact decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Haves:
  • Previous startup experience or experience working in a fast-growing company.
  • Experience with AI, NLP, speech recognition, or call automation technologies.
  • Strong frontend experience with React, Next.js, or other modern frameworks.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
