What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and quality assurance processes leveraging cloud technologies, JavaScript/Java, REST services, and FIX protocols
- Design comprehensive test strategies, including plans, scripts, and workflows, to validate financial and trading platforms
- Implement and run automated test suites for web-based applications and user interface components
- Develop automation for REST and FIX API validation to ensure seamless system integration and performance
- Review test outcomes, diagnose defects, and propose fixes and enhancements to improve software quality
- Collaborate across business and engineering teams to elevate testing standards and ensure product excellence
- Partner with Infrastructure, QA, and Corporate IT teams to deploy scalable and robust technology solutions
- Embed automated tests into Jenkins pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery processes
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-10 years of experience in financial services, specializing in trading operations, fund transfers, settlements, or clearing processes
- Strong coding skills in both Java and Python
- Practical experience with automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and JMeter
- Deep knowledge of API testing and hands-on familiarity with FIX protocol validation
- Expertise in testing trading workflows (e.g., equities, options), cash movements, and post-trade processing systems
- Comfortable using JIRA and test management platforms such as TestRail or Allure
- Proven problem-solver with excellent communication skills, strong collaboration abilities, and a keen eye for detail
- Bonus: Experience working with messaging systems like ActiveMQ or Kafka
