Champaign, IL | Onsite

We’re working with a newly formed engineering and data team backed by a major consulting group and a global investment firm, focused on building high-quality data systems that support real-time decision-making in financial markets.

They’re hiring a Market Data Analyst to sit at the intersection of data, operations, and the business.

This is a role for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with both technical teams and end users.


The role
  • Support market data systems and resolve day-to-day issues
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve workflows
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical solutions
  • Improve data quality, documentation, and internal processes
  • Manage small to large projects across data and operations

What you’ll bring
  • 2+ years in data, finance, or analytics roles
  • Strong SQL and/or Python skills
  • Understanding of financial markets and asset classes
  • Strong communication skills, able to work across teams
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Nice to have
  • Experience in hedge funds, asset management, or trading environments
  • Exposure to data pipelines or automation tools
  • Interest in financial systems and market infrastructure
