Description

A global Investment Bank is seeking an experienced Compliance Advisory professional for an EMIR Refit project. This is a 12 month project requiring the successful applicant to provide regulatory advice for their Transaction Reporting and Regulatory Reporting processes. 

Role Responsibilities;
  • Be an SME and advise Technology, Operations, Change and Compliance teams on regulatory requirements
  • Analyse existing policies and processes to identify gaps and make suggestions for change
  • Attend committees and group discussions to drive and educate the business on required changes
  • Escalate any potential risks and advise on the required updates and changes
  • Develop improved monitoring processes to be implemented by the relevant teams
  • Work with the regulatory change management team to develop and maintain horizon scanning processes
Role Requirements
  • Strong regulatory knowledge of EMIR 3.0
  • Similar experience in a core compliance role with Transaction and Regulatory Reporting
  • Ideally educated to degree level with strong regulatory advisory or consulting background
  • Financial Services experience with strong product knowledge of securities and derivatives
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and advise
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
