Data Scientist

Midlands / Hybrid Working | 3-4 Month initial Contract

A leading PE backed consumer facing business is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support its commercial analytics function on an initial short-term contract.

The role will focus on managing and analysing advertising campaign performance across a large-scale digital media network, supporting campaign setup, delivery and reporting across multiple supplier campaigns.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years’ experience in data science or analytics

• Strong Python skills

• Good understanding of statistics, A/B testing, and significance testing

• Numerical academic background (e.g. Maths, Physics, Computer Science)

• Data Science MSc beneficial

• Strong internship experience or recent graduates also considered

Ideal profile:

• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset

• Comfortable working across multiple campaigns simultaneously

• Looking for hands-on commercial data science experience

• Interest in statistical analysis rather than GenAI/LLM-focused work
