We’re working with a newly formed engineering team backed by a major consulting group and a global investment firm, building high-impact systems at the intersection of technology and financial markets.

They’re hiring a Software Engineer to work on complex, business-critical systems with direct exposure to real-world financial workflows.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving hard problems, working closely with stakeholders, and having impact from day one.

The role

Build and own technical solutions end-to-end
Work closely with business users to understand and solve real problems
Design and improve systems with a focus on performance and scalability
Challenge existing processes and drive better technical approaches
Stay close to emerging technologies and apply them where relevant

What you’ll bring

Strong programming skills (C#, Java, Python, or similar)
Experience working with databases (SQL)
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mindset
Clear communicator, comfortable working with non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

Experience in financial services or data-heavy environments
Background in fast-paced or high-performance teams
Strong academic background in a technical field
