Data Engineer - Databricks, dbt, Fivetran, Data Migration - Private Equity

London / Hybrid | 12-Month Contract | Outside IR35

 

A leading Private Equity firm is seeking a Data Engineer to support the delivery of its cloud data platform transformation.

 

Working alongside the Data Lead and wider technology team, you'll help migrate the business from a legacy SQL environment to a modern cloud-based data platform, building scalable data pipelines and supporting a major transformation programme.

 

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and Fivetran

• Experience delivering cloud data platform or migration projects

• Strong understanding of modern data engineering principles

• Experience with dbt, GitHub, or CI/CD beneficial

• Private Equity or Financial Services experience advantageous

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines

• Support the migration to a modern cloud data platform

• Build and optimise data solutions using Databricks and Fivetran

• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability

• Collaborate with the wider technology team to deliver key project milestones
