Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer

What you'll do

  • Write scalable, well-tested code across the frontend and backend

  • Work with customers and the internal team to shape and prioritise the product roadmap

  • Make key architectural calls and evaluate new technologies where it counts

  • Build solid data pipelines that feed into machine learning work

  • Support the wider team technically and help manage automated deployments

  • Help oversee a team of external engineers


What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience with Python and Django

  • Solid experience with React or a similar frontend framework

  • Comfortable with Google Cloud Platform or an equivalent

  • Full-stack experience across front and back end

  • Strong organisation and follow-through on complex projects

  • Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York, in-person role

  • Bonus: early-stage startup experience, or background in computer vision, data mining or statistics
