Senior Finance Project Manager – Regulatory Compliance
Location: Paris (hybrid – up to 3 days remote)
Mission Length: 6 months (long-term assignment)
Start: Immediate / short notice
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Project Manager to lead a regulatory compliance programme 
focused on electronic invoicing reform within a large, regulated financial institution operating in an 
international banking and clearing environment.
This is a delivery-critical role requiring strong project governance, regulatory understanding, and the ability to 
coordinate multiple stakeholders across Finance, IT, Procurement, and external vendors.
The Role
As Senior Finance Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the electronic invoicing compliance 
programme, managing the initiative end to end from scoping through to deployment.
• Leading the full project lifecycle: scoping, design, build coordination, testing, and deployment
• Ensuring compliance with electronic invoicing and tax reform regulations
• Managing project plans, milestones, dependencies, budget, and risks
• Coordinating closely with Finance, IT, Procurement, and Group-level project teams
• Acting as the primary interface with external vendors and solution providers
• Embedding solutions within existing ERP and finance processes
• Providing regular, structured reporting to senior sponsors and steering committees
• Ensuring delivery within a highly regulated banking environment with strict governance standards
Requirements
• 5–10 years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager within Banking, Finance, or Clearing House 
environments
• Strong command of project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall / V-Model)
• Proven experience delivering regulatory or compliance-driven finance projects
• Solid understanding of tax reform and electronic invoicing regulations
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle Fusion
• Experience managing budgets, risks, and senior stakeholder expectations
• Comfortable working in complex, regulated, international environments
• French and fluent English required (meetings, documentation, vendor interaction)
• PMP or Prince2 certification preferred but not mandatory
