IT Project Manager – Global Markets / Post-Trade Technology

Location: Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week)

Overview

Seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support the implementation of a new back-office platform supporting Global Markets Operations. This multi-year initiative will modernize post-trade processes and requires close collaboration across Operations, Compliance, Business Analysts, Developers, and global technology teams.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced financial environments, enjoys coordinating complex technology initiatives, and has experience managing operational or regulatory-focused projects within banking or capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain project timelines, milestones, and delivery plans across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment between local and enterprise-wide project objectives
  • Track and manage IT change requests, dependencies, risks, and escalations
  • Maintain Jira boards, Agile workflows, and project governance documentation
  • Support budgeting, resource tracking, and project reporting activities
  • Ensure all project documentation, controls, and audit artifacts are properly maintained
  • Coordinate testing phases, deployment readiness, and production rollout activities
  • Monitor post-release issues and support defect tracking and resolution efforts
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and cross-functional collaboration

Required Experience

  • 5–9 years of experience in IT Project Management within financial services or banking
  • Experience supporting operations, post-trade, regulatory, or capital markets technology initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project governance frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Agile Scrum environments, and project tracking tools
  • Background working alongside Business Analysts, Developers, and Operations teams
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background

  • Experience managing operational transformation or regulatory-driven technology projects
  • Knowledge of Global Markets, post-trade processing, or back-office operations
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a plus

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
