Description

My client, New York’s top hedgefund on the forefront of technology, is seeking a software engineer to join its team working on its data accumulation platform ingesting over 10 terabytes of data per day with an existed 50 petabytes. Having built an entire suite of analysis tools they’ve produced predictive models to automatically invest in the market.

You’ll be able to build proprietary solutions on a robust infrastructure in a collaborative work culture. Complex problems will require you to have a passion for learning as well as a deep, technological understanding on a variety of competencies.

In order to succeed in the role you must have an understanding of data transformation and visualization on distributed systems, cloud computing, and performance optimization.

You will need to have a bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, an understanding of data structures and algorithms, extraordinary programming skills and experience in Java, Python, C or C++ and experience working on large-scale systems.
