Role

Join as a Senior Data Engineer, playing a key role in the modernisation of a large-scale regulatory reporting platform. You will design and develop high-performance data pipelines and backend processing capabilities using Python and Snowflake, helping to evolve legacy architecture into a modern cloud-based platform.

Working within a collaborative engineering team, you will contribute to platform design, build scalable data solutions, and develop new functionality supporting time-sensitive reporting and compliance processes. This is an opportunity to work on a major transformation programme using modern engineering practices and technologies.

Key Skills

  • Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions across large, complex datasets.
  • Expertise in high-volume data processing and pipeline development.
  • Advanced experience with Snowflake, including Snowpark and Python integrations.
  • Strong Python development skills for ETL, automation, and data transformation.
  • Excellent SQL knowledge and experience building custom data pipelines.
  • Experience working within highly regulated or compliance-driven environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Azure, would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Java and Spring Framework is beneficial for supporting existing services.
  • Nice to have: Experience with dbt, Airflow, or other modern data orchestration tools.
