Company

A specialist FinTech firm building globally distributed cloud based data investment platforms for the financial services industry.

Summary of role

You will play a critical part of a growing technology function within a successful FinTech firm. The Sales Engineering team are responsible for working with the sales team to identify and onboard clients while becoming an SME of their cloud based product.

With this team, you will specifically build your trading knowledge within financial and commodity market while working in a technical capacity. Responsibilities include delivering technical presentations, POCs, implementation and discussing the product with prospective clients.

As a senior, you will assist in leading the Sales Engineering team with the opportunity to take on a leadership role.

You will play a key role in the online community of cloud based users and work closely with the product team to help create a positive onboarding experience for clients.

The position requires someone with core technical compentencies in one of the following programming languages: C#/.Net Core, Python, Java or JavaScript. The business will provide training where required for both technical skills and financial services market knowledge.

Key Skills

- Experience working in a client facing role
- Career history working in a technical capacity
- Experience of writing code (C#, Python or Java) is highly beneficial
- Understanding of cloud computing
- Excellent communication skills (written + verbal)
