twentyAI are exclusively partnered with a VC Backed, scale-up SAAS (Software-as-a-Service) technology company. They are currently hiring a Head of Finance to take over the Company’s core reporting and financial management responsibilities from the Founder and CEO. An ideal candidate for this position would have experience working as a financial controller within a fast-growing SME. Experience working in SAAS and/or overseeing finance operations in both the UK and US is a prerequisite. 

Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts, board packs
• Produce year-end accounts and act as a point of contact for external accountants; manage related tax filings
• Cash flow modeling, business forecasting
• Maintain and enhance internal controls to improve performance, profitability, and governance
• Manage client contracts, invoicing, and receivables collections (in collaboration with Sales and Account Management colleagues)
• Manage treasury function, including bookkeeping/cash reconciliations
• Supervise and make monthly payroll, pension, and supplier payments
• Manage HMRC and other regulatory filing requirements
• Manage quarterly VAT Returns
• Organize / submit usage reports to 3rd party data providers
• Oversee Company’s insurance policies/renewals
• Oversee HR function including new employee contracts, onboarding
• Oversee business Compliance requirements and Company policies
• Ad hoc investor relations work

Requirements:

• Strong academic track record
• Accounting and/or finance qualifications such as ACA preferred
• Experience working in Software-as-a-Service (SAAS)
• Experience overseeing finance operations in both the UK and US (ideally having built out US operations from a UK HQ)
