A leading international energy trading company is looking for a Senior Compliance and FCC Manager to lead their London based Compliance and Financial Crime function.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead on all compliance matters affecting the company and ensure a strong internal compliance programme is maintained.
  • Advise the business on compliance and regulatory changes and ensure that new business is in line with relevant requirements.
  • Manage, monitor and report on key compliance activities across the business including actions taken to mitigate risks.
  • Act as the MLRO to maintain strong internal processes to mitigate KYC, AML and sanctions risks.
  • Co-ordinate and actively manage relationships with external regulatory stakeholders and ensure relevant controls frameworks meets key regulatory and exchange standards.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate the team to provide robust oversight for Compliance and Financial Crime requirements.
Role Requirements
  • A strong Compliance and Financial Crime Leadership background within Commodities trading.
  • Proven industry experience and knowledge of relevant trading activities.
  • Solid understanding of ABC and AML legislations as well as regulatory rules such as MiFID, MAD, EMIR and REMIT.
  • Knowledge of Trade Sanctions in line with commodity trading.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop individuals within the team as well as influence and guide front office and key stakeholders across the business.
