Role
As the Head of Business Systems, you will lead the strategic direction and evolution of technologies supporting core legal processes across a global business.

You will oversee a team responsible for enhancing tools used across the business ensuring they are reliable, innovative, and aligned with the wider technology strategy.

You will work closely with stakeholders including legal teams, business staff, and technology partners to identify needs, drive product development, and promote user adoption.

In this role, you will:
  • Guide the development and continuous improvement of legal technology solutions related to document management, matter management, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that streamline work and improve client service.
  • Oversee external technology providers, ensuring all solutions meet firm-wide goals and standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, leveraging data and user insights for ongoing optimisation.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive team culture and contribute to talent development within your area.
  • Promote adoption and engagement of technology solutions across the firm.

  • Proven experience leading the development and delivery of technology solutions in a legal or professional services setting.
