DESCRIPTION
Are you passionate about building web applications the "right way"? Cannot decide if you love back-end or front-end development more? Do you often worry about how the database schema can be optimized to handle the UI, how to design a REST API that links the two together, and how to roll out these changes so nothing breaks? Do you feel joy when reading a clean API? Are you excited at the thought of building and owning dozens of micro-services? If you answered "yes" to these, then you might be the full-stack engineer we are looking for.
In this role you will be a leader working closely with our UI and backend developers to build out our APIs and micro-services. Your role will be diverse, occasionally designing both widgets and database schema. You'll decide and implement the best practices for your team to follow, and create the infrastructure to make development smoother and faster for others.
REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Computer Science or similar.
- 3+ years experience in relevant roles.
- Experience with modern web application frameworks: Rails, Flask, Django, Play Framework, Lift, Node.js.
- Experience with persistence technologies: Mysql, PostgreSQL, Cassandra
- Scaled APIs and micro-services and worked with versioning and dependency management.
