We are partnering with a fast-growing fintech in Budapest that is seeking an experienced TÜK Consultant to support its confidential information handling processes.

This role is responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for authority requests in Hungary, ensuring that all sensitive and confidential data is handled securely and in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role suited to someone with a strong AML, compliance, or financial crime background and proven experience working as a TÜK agent / TÜK-responsible person.
Role Responsibilities

• Serve as the organisation’s designated TÜK agent, handling all confidential information requests from Hungarian authorities (e.g. NAV, police, courts).
• Review, validate, and process official requests to ensure legal compliance and proper documentation.
• Maintain secure channels for receiving, recording, storing, and transmitting sensitive information.
• Liaise with internal AML, compliance, and legal teams to ensure consistency of responses and alignment with regulatory obligations.
• Oversee internal policies and best practices related to titkos ügykezelés and confidential data handling.
• Ensure the organisation meets all national security, data protection, and sector-specific compliance requirements.
• Support internal audits and regulatory reviews relating to TÜK processes.

• Strong background in AML, compliance, KYC, financial crime, or regulatory risk.
• In-depth understanding of Hungarian regulatory frameworks and authority communication procedures.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under time pressure when responding to time-sensitive official requests.
• Excellent communication skills in Hungarian. Good English preferred.
• Fintech or financial services experience is advantageous
