Description
My client, a progressive, direct access, electronic broker to top tier traders and brokers is looking for a Java Software Engineer to join its high performance team. They are the lowest cost provider of brokerage service while remaining the largest electronic broker in the United States with a daily output of 650,000+ trades per day.
Responsibilities include development of their brokerage platform on the front or back-end, depending on your experience. On the front end you must have experience in Java Swing on an end-user facing trading platform and on the back end in Core Java on data modelling and transport layers on multithreaded and high throughput.
A successful candidate must have a Bachelors in EE, CS, Math, Physics or a similar quantitative degree. One must be technically oriented with an extreme attention to detail. One must have had experience working in Core Java with knowledge of Java Swing or the desire to learn Java Swing.
