Interim US Regulatory Reporting Manager (Retail Banking)
Contract | Remote (Argentina)
This is a rare chance to play a foundational role in launching a new US retail bank for a fast-growing global fintech. As an Interim Argentina Regulatory Reporting Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of regulation, data, and business readiness—helping shape the regulatory reporting framework from the ground up during a critical market entry phase.
If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy building rather than maintaining, and have deep knowledge of the retail banking regulatory landscape, this role offers high impact, senior-level exposure, and the opportunity to influence long-term operating models while permanent hiring is underway.
Role Overview
This is a temporary contract role focused on scoping, defining, and operationalizing regulatory reporting requirements for a newly launched retail bank. The role is business-led, with support from a regulatory reporting platform team for technical implementation.
You’ll lead the identification of federal and state regulatory obligations, define data requirements, and ensure reporting readiness across capital, liquidity, and financial returns.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Scoping & Requirements

  • Identify and scope regulatory reports required for a retail banking operation
  • Assess federal regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., capital, liquidity, financial returns)
  • Determine state-level reporting obligations based on incorporation and operating footprint
Data Mapping & Readiness
  • Perform a data requirements mapping exercise for all regulatory reports
  • Identify required data points and define regulatory attributes
  • Map business data elements to regulatory reporting system (Axiom) requirements
  • Identify data gaps within the existing data warehouse
  • Define sourcing strategies for missing or incomplete data
Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as a business owner for regulatory requirements, working closely with the reporting platform/product team
  • Clearly articulate regulatory interpretations, scoping decisions, and implementation approaches
  • Support decision-making during a fast-moving bank launch timeline
Required Experience
  • Strong background in US regulatory reporting within a retail banking environment
  • Solid understanding of capital, liquidity, and financial regulatory reporting
  • Experience navigating federal and state-level regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to operate in build-out / launch / transformation environments
Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting subsidiary setup, bank launches, or geographic expansion
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., Axiom), though business expertise is more important than technical configuration
  • Basic technical skills (e.g., SQL literacy) to support data discussions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory concepts clearly
