One of the world's largest energy companies with operations across the global in both the trading & production of natural commodities with a specialism within Natural Gas.
They are looking for a first hire Data Engineer to be based out of their Houston office as they look to insource their Data production & pipelining for the Front Office.
You will get the opportunity to design & build, in close collaboration with the Front Office to set up their data pipelines to follow integrate with the trading desk models already in place and help drive one of the most prestigious organizations within the O&G sector towards the future with their technology adoption.
The role is hybrid, in office 4 days per week and as this is a first hire in Houston, they are not assigning a budget as they want to attract true BIC talent.

Key Skills

- Experience working within the commodities trading space is ideal (other regulated industries would also be useful)
- Experience with Azure Databricks
