Their mission is to provide startups and scale-ups with the opportunity to split invoices thereby enabling them to grow and thrive without the financial burden of traditional lending practices. Since securing backing from venture capitalists in 2022, they have experienced rapid growth and is now poised to expand further in 2025.
They’re hiring a Senior Credit Risk Underwriter to perform a critical business role to maintain risk governance, underwriting rigor, and portfolio performance.

twentyAI’s Compliance function are a team of specialist consultants covering Financial Crime Compliance and Regulatory Compliance mandates, both permanent and temporary, across Financial Services, Technology and Energy.
They’re hiring a Senior Credit Risk Underwriter to perform a critical business role to maintain risk governance, underwriting rigor, and portfolio performance.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform in depth credit underwriting for new and existing applications
- Provide analysis to existing processes and advise business on improvements to automation tools
- Conduct a thorough financial analysis of company accounts, cash flow, and trading performance
- Support collections and recoveries strategy, particularly with ageing receivables
- Develop and enhance credit risk framework and operational processes
- Provide QA on credit assessments and help standardise risk reporting
- Support fraud and portfolio monitoring efforts as part of a broader risk ownership
- Extensive experience in commercial credit underwriting, ideally in SME B2B lending
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with a passion for data-backed decision making
- Confident working in fast-moving, scale-up environment
- Experienced in assessing non-standard risk cases and structuring credit recommendations
- Excellent communication skills internally and externally including negotiation experience in collections scenarios
