Job Description

 

 

  • Responsible for the integrity of employee and organizational information within the Workday HCM ecosystem.

  • Provide administrative support to Workday HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence Management and Compensation functions

  • Develop, document and maintain system admin procedures, along with employee and user resource guides

  • Performs data audits, analyzes data proactively and on request in support of HC initiatives.

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with HCSS Teams and key stakeholders for Workday.

  • Troubleshoot and research Workday solutions in Workday Community

  • Develops standardized and ad hoc reports to support daily HCSS operations and performance.

  • Develop and Maintain HCBP, Benefit, Compensation, Shared Services, Absence Dashboards

  • Identifies and recommends process improvements..

  • Troubleshoot and provide solution to issues reported by HCBP, Recruiting, Benefits, Absence Management and Compensation stakeholders

  • Supporting semi-annual Workday release project activities and weekly updates related to existing modules.

  • Assists with HC special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Configuring changes in Workday aligned with business requirements and performing comprehensive Unit testing with business teams, applications support and system developers for overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables.

  • Applies technical and functional knowledge to the improvement, maintenance, and development of SA systems to support business needs and requirements.

  • Performs troubleshooting of systems by researching and identifying the root causes for data problems such as: system limitations or design, user error, or lack of standard procedures for accurate ongoing administration of systems and reports.

  • Performs audits of various datasets to ensure data integrity and efficient processing of data; develops business rules to validate data to maintain ongoing data integrity.

  • Promotes data standardization and recommends best practices to support business needs.

  • Build and optimize algorithms and systems, in partnership with the Technology Department as needed.

  • Coordinate with program and project leaders to identify new platforms or system requirements and strategies for implementing them into the learning ecosystem.

  • Architect the overall vision for the SA Learning Ecosystem, including how learners will access their learning and the required integrations, to bring the vision to life. 

  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with school and network-based teams, particularly the Technology Department, and learning software vendors.

  • Strong technical implementation skills. Coordinate required testing and validation across multiple functional teams.

  • Maintains a strong knowledge of human resource policies, procedures, and processes.

  • Analyzes errors, utilizes resources available to drive a resolution and root cause analysis.

  • Coaches team members on system usage and best practice.

  • Analyzes data errors and provides recommendations for process improvement.

  • System Administrator for the ongoing configuration, integrations, and management of the recruiting and onboarding modules in Workday.

  • Create, perform and troubleshoot data uploads (EIBs) into Workday as needed.

 

Required Experience & Skills: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting, statistics, data/computer/information science or similar

 

  • Must be able to analyze the data and articulate what data trends mean. Demonstrated experience with creation of evaluation tools, data analysis and reporting is preferred.

  • Must have experience using complex computer programs to mine data sources and look for trends.

  • Proactively identifies and assesses problems based on data trends, and utilizes available resources to implement and communicate efficient solutions, assess outcomes, and make necessary adjustments.

  • Employs a variety of interpersonal tools to build and maintain positive working relationships with Evaluates systems, continuously seeks improvement, and shares innovations with the Network to strengthen overall organizational processes.

  • Views unknown situations with a critical lens, and welcomes frequent change and ambiguity.

  • 3+ years’ experience configuring and implementing Workday, experience as a client of Workday through an implementation, experience in other HRIS with desire to re-tool to Workday.

  • Experience in all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, go-live, testing).

  • Ability to manage work, lead a workstream, and mentor junior team members

  • 1+ years of experience in project management, project scheduling, quality assurance testing, preparing documentation and specifications, and technical writing

  • Experience in Workday report writing and dashboards is highly preferred
