twentyAI is partnered with a world renowned, highly acquisitive Private Equity Business that is seeking a strong technical accountant to support it's Group Reporting Function.

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Ownership of the Group consolidation under IFRS
  • Ownership of the Intercompany Matrix including intercompany position matching and rules (including FX)
  • Support with the preparation of technical accounting papers on business specific matters including mergers and acquisitions 
  • Support with the preparation and maintenance of accounting policy documents
  • Assess the financial reporting impact of new or amended accounting standards and / or regulation
  • Support with the reporting to the Audit Committee on key issues and judgements impacting the financial statements
  • Supporting the Head of Reporting to ensure that a risk focused approach is adopted for financial reporting processes, underpinned by a sound control environment and clear process documentation. This includes processes that operate within our international offices and outsourced service providers
  • Support in the preparation of the Group’s annual budget and forecasts by providing guidance on technical accounting matters
  • Embedding Group reporting under IFRS to ensure compliance with, and efficient reporting under, the applicable accounting standards
  • Complete the documentation of a global set of accounting papers and policies
  • Onboard new external auditors and brief the auditors on significant risk areas and complex accounting matters
  • Embed new control processes utilising a risk and control matrix 
  • Develop a regulatory reporting governance and control policy including consideration of process and judgements
  • Identifying and utilising opportunities to change manual or time-consuming processes through automation and systemisation
Role Requirements:
  • ACA / ACCA Qualified – other accounting qualifications considered
  • Experience of preparing and / or auditing papers and policies on complex accounting matters
  • Reporting writing skills essential
  • Experience using Infor d/EPM, PS Financials and OneSource software, an advantage
  • Private Equity and / or Credit experience preferred, but not essential
