You will join a highly reputable, well known financial services institution which holds a market leading presence in its sector. Year on year this firm has experienced growth and will offer you a secure, challenging and rewarding working environment.

The role

This role will be responsible for the risk management of their OTC FX business. This will cover daily risk monitoring, review of margin parameters and investigation of the liquidity and stress scenarios. This role includes defining risks associated with new products and potential new contracts.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ongoing monitoring of any exposures to risks and reporting and ensure that regular risk reporting is in place
  • Continually ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of data sources, pricing methodologies and curve building methodologies
  • Regularly test procedures to ensure that they’re in line and compliant with the firm’s policies and procedures
  • Assess Stress Testing scenarios and ensure that the models are continually assessed to
  • Ensure regular reporting is in place and that sufficient measures of liquidity and market risk are in place to identify risks

Role Requirements

  • Experience in a risk management role within Financial Services
  • Strong knowledge of risk management within Interest Rate and or Forex products including Swaps, Repos, Futures and Options
  • Quantitative background across mathematics, finance or economic
  • Strong systems knowledge and experience across spreadsheets as well as developing automation processes
