Job Title: ML Analyst (L3)
Length of Assignment (LOA): 6+ Months
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
Project Overview:
Our client, a prominent financial institution, requires support for a financial modeling application focused on property value estimations. The existing model is currently in production, and the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure its continued operational efficiency. Additionally, the ML Analyst will play a pivotal role in transitioning from this project to a model transformation initiative, providing an opportunity to enhance their skill set in feature engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
As an ML Analyst, you will primarily work on the financial machine learning model hosted on AWS. The role entails extensive involvement in data analysis, documentation, requirements gathering, and effective communication. Proficiency in SQL, specifically using SQL Workbench to access data, is essential. Familiarity with AWS services, including federate, and accessing database hubs such as RDS and Dynamo DB is crucial. You will be responsible for data validation, excellent communication with stakeholders, and some functional testing. While functional testing will be part of your responsibilities, you will have support from a team of SDETS. This role also presents an opportunity to transition to another model transformation project, providing exposure to feature engineering.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including understanding the console and accessing AWS data stores like S3
  • Experience in data analysis using AWS services
  • Knowledge of modeling applications and Python (coding skills are not necessary)
  • Exposure to Financial Modeling
