Description

What will you be doing?

• Motivating, leading and developing a team of full stack and backend software engineers
• Improving our engineering expertise, coding standards, quality and test practices
• Designing and developing new features in the UI for Trading System for the Credit Desk
• Optimising application performance by profiling, finding inefficiencies and bottlenecks
• Coordinating with global development teams, work with QA to deliver global releases
• Working with traders, operations, and support to analyse new requirements, explain new features and investigate reported issues

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with in building highly performant, scalable and resilient UI platforms
• Proven experience of modern front-end systems utilising Angular, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, jQuery, JavaScript, React, NodeJS and Bootstrap
• Proficiency with AWS and infrastructure management/DevOps Practices, building SPAs (Single Page Applications)
• Experience of Full Stack Development with Java microservices

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge/experience of building UI
• Knowledge of C# .NET and Java development
• Strong skills in object oriented design and development
• Working knowledge of grids – AgGrid, Kendo grid, react grid
