Description
My client are a global commodities business with over £150 Billion in Revenue who invest heavily in technology. Within their Mayfair office they are developing some of the most complex and industry leading trading systems.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for the management of the Virtualisation, Linux, Storage, Backups
- Networks & Provisioning
- Ensure projects are delivered in timely manner and suitably resourced
- Oversee the management of support and escalations, incidents and root cause analysis.
- Promote automation and Infrastructure as Code
- Red Hat Linux administration
- Vmware VSphere administration
- Storage technologies, e.g. PureStorage
- Scipting
- DevOps toolset; Ansible, Git, etc
- Firewalls, switching, routing, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN
- Management of a technical team experience
