Description

Mission:  
Actively participate in Acumatica projects while continuing to expand Acumatica and soft consulting skills to drive successful implementations and delight customers.  Leads, with oversight, parts of implementations.

Objectives (Key Outcomes)
  • Read and understand Statements of Work (SOW) and Master Service Agreements (MSA) prior to engaging on a project.
  • Complete assigned tasks (with moderate guidance and oversight) within alignment of SOW and NexTec methodology.
  • Maintain 70%+ utilization on an average annual basis.
  • Maintain appropriate Acumatica certifications and continue developing skill set in selected main Acumatica focus area (finance, distribution, construction, manufacturing).
  • Continue to develop soft consulting skills.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in requirements gathering and design activities, interact with consulting team and client core team to collect information, configure the system, provide training, lead testing sessions, and support go-live activities for a work stream under the guidance of the functional project leads.
  • Establish and maintain “trusted advisor” relationship with customers.  Negotiate resolutions to business/process/functional issues with business stakeholders.
  • Provide weekly status reports.
  • Understand and follow Acumatica’s implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Achieve utilization targets while achieving high customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency with at least one main focus area, and basic proficiency with another two focus areas, obtain appropriate certifications, and build industry expertise.
  • Proactively communicate status, issues, and concerns to director, project manager, and/or architect/lead.
  • Provide coaching and quality assurance to ensure team members are following NexTec implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Continue to expand effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Tailor communication style in order to communicate at multiple levels of an organization and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
    • Actively participate in group discussions with team members and customers.
    • Develop accurate written material with moderate guidance and support.
  • Manage work schedule and organize assigned tasks (with moderate supervision) to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team to complete project deliverables within the scope and timeline.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Four-year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of implementation and support experience with Acumatica, with a specific module focus on the Financial Core, Field Service, Project Accounting, Construction Management, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience working with customer facing businesses and application functions.
  • Acumatica certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with a consulting organization or reseller is a plus.
  • Experience as a controller or senior accountant is a plus.
  • Ability to adopt specific methodology and work within a team.
